Incredibly soft, this will warm anyone once they snuggle in it. The warp (lengthwise) is a linen color silk with a weft (side to side) of baby alpaca yarn. I love working with silk. The alpaca is slightly lofty, but not too fuzzy.
This is a braid or plaited twill pattern. It looks as though the pattern weaves under and over itself. This will drape beautifully over the back of a couch or on the arm of a chair ready to chase away a chill. It will lay across the foot of a queen size bed.
 
"Baby" alpaca refers to the fineness of the actual fiber and does not indicate it came from a baby alpaca.
