I love using the turned twill structure for fabrics. So many colors! They change with each color I use in the weft. It also makes a sturdy fabric. For me, they are reminders of the Bauhaus textiles or pieces by abstract artist Piet Mondrian.
You may see some wonderful hand carved wooden utensils in my photos. They are made by The Crooked Spoon in Passadumkeag, Maine. I use them in my own kitchen!
